He tries to do so quietly because Jack is nearby, but Vic says there's no need to since he knows. While they're stocking up the engine, Travis again approaches Vic to talk. They fall onto her bed and proceed to have sex. Moments later, they are kissing and undressing in her apartment. While they're not doing anything wrong and they can be seen together just talking, they could also have a conversation at her place. Her place is nearby so she invites him over. They were just kicked out of the bar because it was closing. He says if she invited him, it would be rude not to join.
